Production Diary (Day 1)

Date: 07.11.2015

Today we had started our production process by beginning to film for our music video. There were slight changes made throughout the day such as changes in the individuals acting out a certain role. Luckily we had prepared arrangements of having back up actors before and so easily used them when filming. There were also slight changes in our locations that we wanted to initially use, however our final locations that we had decided on did a great job in portraying a certain narrative to the video.

During the early afternoon, we had filmed our base tracks for our artist (Amber) in a girly bedroom. We had given our artist a variety of props such as a teddy bear, previous pictures that could be seen on a phone and many clothes that she could change into for different locations.

After we had filmed the bedroom scenes, we had then done some outdoor filming in which most shots consisted of the "new girlfriend" with the "boyfriend". Alongside this, we had also filmed another base track outdoors of Amber + scenes in which she is showing to stalk her ex-boyfriend.

Next we had filmed the "front door scenes" in which Amber interrupts her ex-boyfriend and his current girlfriend's date. We had decided to use a fig rig in most of our shots as it mostly resembles the elements of music videos in general . Finally we had decided to film our artist's flashback scenes in which we filmed a variety of romantic moments her and her boyfriend had. This would fit perfectly in lour music video when Amber is reminiscing about her boyfriend towards the end of the video.

Overall, we are extremely happy with our first day of filming as we had worked productively. We managed to film many scenes and different base tracks in one day. This has motivated us when filming again and looking forward to our finished video.

Here are a few behind the scenes clips of our filming: ENJOY
